Managing the Shortened Half-Life of Technology in Martech Douglas Karr Douglas Carr Follow XSea , Read for minutes I'm really lucky to be working at a startup on the leading edge of artificial intelligence ( AI ) in retail. While other areas within the martech landscape have barely moved in the past decade (e.g. email rendering and delivery), not a day has gone by without advancements in AI.
It's terrifying and exciting at the same time. I couldn't imagine America Cell Phone Number List working in an enterprise corporation with rigid management, processes and bureaucracy where it could take months or even years to implement a breakthrough. As a lean startup, our data scientist reads research papers one week and implements methodologies the next...dramatically increasing the results we get for our clients.

Our solution pushes forecast data to our retail customers' cloud database, which is integrated into their Martech stack. As our models are updated and produce accurate predictions, we can use them without disrupting our customer. Customers can immediately benefit from our innovations. Contrast this with consultants, development teams, or platforms that require implementation, integration, and training to leverage. Our time estimation ( TTV ) is fast. Our competitors have long implementations with complex integrations that can take months or years...and sometimes never arrive. Internal teams trying to start from scratch are even worse.
